SAN FRANCISCO (KRON) -- One person is being hospitalized and another is displaced after a first-alarm fire in San Francisco's Potrero Hill neighborhood, according to the San Francisco Fire Department. One person was transported to a local hospital with a non-life-threatening injury. Another individual was displaced and Red Cross Northern California has been notified, SFFD said. Driver in Livermore traffic stop arrested for guns, meth

(KRON) -- A routine traffic stop in Livermore on Wednesday lead to one man being arrested on drugs and weapons charges, according to the Livermore Police Department. Livermore PD officers stopped a Chevy Silverado on North Greenville Road at around 1:20 a.m. Wednesday, for vehicle code violations. San Jose rampage suspect worked for Google, had meth problem: court documents A search of the vehicle uncovered an un-serialized Polymer 80 Glock 9 handgun concealed in the center console, police said. A secondary magazine and ammunition were also uncovered. An unspecified amount of methamphetamine was also found on the driver.The driver, 38-year-old Mario Avila Calderon of Oakland, was arrested on several charges, including possession of a loaded firearm in public, possession of drugs while armed, and carrying a concealed firearm.

PETALUMA, Calif. (KRON) – The Petaluma Police Department conducted a decoy operation Wednesday night to check the compliance of the city’s tobacco vendors. Officer locates stolen firearm, two arrested in Petaluma The operation involved teenaged adult decoys who visited 17 tobacco licensed businesses and attempted to purchase tobacco products from each vendor.
